The Resurrection of Christ proved that he had overcome sin. The
consequence of sin is death. Death could not hold on to Jesus
because He was sinless.
Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached
to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By
this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to
you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed
on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to
the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third
day according to the Scriptures, 1 Cor. 15:1-4 NIV
Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three
days.” {20} The Jews replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this
temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” {21} But the temple he
had spoken of was his body. {22} After he was raised from the dead, his
disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the Scripture and
the words that Jesus had spoken. (John 2:19-22 NIV)
Jesus was resurrected in the same body that He died in . . .
While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them
and said to them, “Peace be with you.” {37} They were startled and
frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. {38} He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? {39} Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and
see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.” {40} When
he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. {41} And while they
still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do
you have anything here to eat?” {42} They gave him a piece of broiled
fish, {43} and he took it and ate it in their presence. (Luke 24:36-43 NIV)
Jesus was revealed himself many times after his resurrection over a forty
days period.
After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many
convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of
forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. (Acts 1:3 NIV)

Right now Jesus is in heaven, still as, and (as far as we know for now)
eternally to be both God and man.
Because Jesus has overcome death He can overcome death for those that
by faith believe on Him and what he has done.
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man
Christ Jesus, (1 Tim 2:5 NIV)
