Jesus is God in the flesh
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God. (John 1:1 NIV)
In this instance, when the Bible speaks of the Word it is speaking about
Jesus.

Jesus – God the Son
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen
his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of
grace and truth. (John 1:14 NIV)
So Jesus (the Word) became flesh. In other words Jesus became a human
being and lived on earth.
“I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
(John 8:58 NIV)
Here Jesus told his listeners that he was in existence before Abraham who
was born thousands of years before. Thus pointing to His eternal
existence. But there is more in that same passage of scripture . . .
When Jesus used the expression, “I am” he was referring to a very
important saying in the Hebrew culture and their relationship with God.
It was said in the book of Exodus . . .
God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the
Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” (Exo 3:14 NIV)
Buy using the expression “I am” Jesus was letting his listeners know He
was God.
We are told that the nature of Jesus was the very nature of God . . .
‘Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: {6} Who, being in
very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be
grasped, {7} but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness. {8} And being found in appearance as a
man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death– even death on a
cross!’ (Phil 2:5-8 NIV)

That the fullness of God was in his body . . .
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, (Col 2:9)
And that when speaking of the Son (God the Son – Jesus) it makes Him
equal with God . . .
But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever,
and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. (Heb 1:8 NIV)
This means Jesus has two natures in one Person
He was not half God and half man.
He was both Human and Divine.
He was completely God and completely Man.
Jesus is Worshiped
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King
Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2 and asked, “Where is the
one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose
and have come to worship him.” (Matt 2:2 NIV)
On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and
they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures
and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. (Matt 2:11
NIV)

And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down.
33 Then those
who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of
God.” (Matt 14:32-33 NIV)
Jesus is Prayed to
59 While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my
spirit.”
60 Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this
sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep. (Acts 7:59-60
NIV)
Paul, called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and our
brother Sosthenes, 2 To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in
Christ Jesus and called to be his holy people, together with all those
everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—their Lord and
ours: (1 Cor. 1:1-2 NIV).
Jesus is called God . . .
Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28 NIV)
while we wait for the blessed hope–the glorious appearing of our
great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, (Titus 2:13 NIV)
Jesus is the Perfect representation of the nature of God.
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his
being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided
purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
(Heb 1:3 NIV)
