God has provided much for a person to consider that the invisible God is there.

An illustration: Imagine you walk into a room for the first time and you see a watch on the floor. You may wonder where it came from. You could think that by some amazing coincidence some metal came out of the ground and formed the shape of the watch.

Then suddenly, a tiny piece of sand blew up from the beach, was blasted by the sun which formed it into a precision circular glass lens of the watch. It then fell and just happened to land right on top of the metal. Then a cow just happened to be walking past a barbed wire fence, tore off a strip of leather that just happened to be exactly the same size and shape required to make a band for the watch.

Now all that is pretty hard to believe! But if you noticed the name on the watch was ‘Swatch’, then you could call it a Swatch Watch. Now you would have to think that a sophisticated product like a ‘Swatch’ would have to be made by someone intelligent. Maybe that someone was Mr Swatch. It would be much easier to believe that Mr Swatch was the mind behind the watch. The human body is far more complicated than any watch and yet people still think we just happened by accident.

Which is easier to believe, that we happened by accident or that there was a mind behind the order of our bodies?

So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”

(Genesis 1:27,28 NRSV)

Christians believe there is a mind behind the order of our human bodies and all else we see in our wonderful world. As Christians we believe that mind to be God.

Maybe you believe people exist because of a series of accidents. To believe that a loving God created us and wants to get to know us as His friends means each one of us is special and worthwhile in God’s sight.
