“There’s Too Much to Give Up”
There can be many possessions in a persons life which may make them
apprehensive about giving their lives to God.
A person may find it hard to give up what they have because it offers
them some kind of security which they can see. Jesus wants to give a
person security for their soul.
“For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his
soul? “For what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Mark 8:36-37
(NASB)
It is true that people have given up worldly possessions to follow God, but
Jesus gives a Christian many blessings far beyond what the world can
offer.

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how
will He not also with Him freely give us all things Romans 8:32 (NASB)
Jesus gives His followers eternal life and many internal qualities.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23
NIV)
Jesus can give a person possession’s that money just cannot buy.
